Releases
Creating a Release Using KiteSuite: After your sprint is complete and ready to release, keep track of it by simply creating release and adding notes. Below are the simple step-to-step guide for you.
Release log
You will see all the available releases for the selected project here with the following information:
Title/Name
Status
Progress
Start date
Release date
Description
Release detail screen
After selecting a release, you should be able to navigate to the release details screen. On this screen, you will be able to view all the items that have been added to that release.
Additionally, you should have the option to select more items from the sprints or other sources by clicking the “Add Item” button.
Edit Release
Here, you can edit, delete, or move the release to the trash as per your convenience.
Search Releases
If you have multiple releases created, quickly search for the release you are looking for using appropriate keywords.
Filter Releases
Easily filter your releases based on the following criteria:
All Statuses
Unreleased
Released
Trashed
Create a release
To create a new release, simply click on the “Create Version” button and enter the following details:
Title/Name
Start date and Release date
Manager: You can select anyone from your team as the manager for the release.
Description: Add details about the release in the description area.
Click on the “Create” button to add your release, or click on the “Cancel” button if you don’t want to save that release for any reason.
